2006 UFO Awards Nominee!

"Here is Greenwood" is a series of manga novels written in the mid-1980's by Yukie Nasu. The series revolves around the lives of four boys living together at the Greenwood dormitory while attending the private all-boys Ryokuto Academy. Greenwood is full of odd characters and none more so than Shun who looks so much like a girl that he is usually mistaken for one.

My story introduces another resident, an underclassman with a problem exactly the opposite of Shun's. Due to mature content of a non-sexual nature, this story may be unsuitable for younger teens.

Spirit Walk
Ranma ½

Rumiko Takahashi's classic "Ranma ½" was the inspiration for these stories. It is the tale of a young man with extraordinary martial arts abilities that runs afoul of an ancient Chinese curse. Now whenever he is splashed with cold water he turns into a buxom redheaded girl. Only a splash of hot water can turn him back into a boy again. His life becomes further complicated when he returns to Japan to find himself engaged to three different girls.

Martial Arts Family Vacation Challenge

Ranma and his growing family set off on an adventure so grueling it will challenge even the world's greatest martial artist... a driving vacation with the kids?

Ranma 1/2 - Aishiteruze Baby
Ranma ½ - Aishiteruze Baby

While a lot of people may be familiar with Rumiko Takahashi's classic "Ranma ½", Youko Maki's "Aishiteruze Baby" has only recently become available outside of Japan. Suffice it to say that the later is the story of a very cute little girl who is abandoned by her single mother and left in the care of relatives. The operative word here is "cute" as that tends to describe most of the main characters in this "slice of life" anime. If you have the opportunity to watch this series, don't pass it up!

Purr-fectly Normal Behavior   e-book: eReader format  Acrobat format

I've always felt sorry for Ranma ½'s Shampoo, she always seems so starved for affection. So I wanted to see what would happen if she met up with anime's cutiest five year old... while in cat form!

Please Teacher
Please Teacher

The best synopsis of "Please Teacher" I have seen to date is from a review on .clue that went like this:

Please Teacher (aka Onegai Teacher and Onegai Sensei) is an odd little series that asks the musical question “is marriage always this hard, or only when you’re an introverted high-school student who’s forced to hide your marriage to your incredibly sexy, secretly extra-terrestrial homeroom teacher, while fighting off the advances of an incredibly sexy classmate and dealing with the side-effects of an untreatable disease that can drop you into a coma at any time?” That’s not a spoiler, that’s the first episode.

If you haven't seen this gem of an anime, I highly recomend you rent or buy the collection. I promise you won't be disapointed.

My story takes place sometime after the end of the TV series and tries to tie up a few loose ends..
